Pacific College of Technology is currently hiring for the following positions:

IT Instructor

Position Description:

The faculty member is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and/or updating a class syllabus
  • Order appropriate books and materials in advance of the class start date.
  • Conduct instructional activities, including lectures, labs, etc. according to course syllabus
  • Conduct evaluations of student performance based on course deliverables
  • Submitting completed mid-semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
  • Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
  • Inform students of their progress in the course by grading and returning work in a timely manner.
  • Participating in departmental meetings or workshops.
  • Build a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CAO or the Program Director.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, preferably a master’s degree
  • IT certifications required
  • Minimum of three years of teaching experience or professional experience in the IT field required.

Accounting Instructor

Position Description:
