Board of Directors

The governance and control of Pacific Tech is vested in a Board of Directors, which has full power, responsibility, and authority to supervise, coordinate, manage, and control the College by promulgating the institution’s mission statement, goals, and ethical standards and by setting all policies, rules, and regulations. The Board consists of no fewer than 5 and no more than 10 members.

Office of Academic Affairs

Office of Administration

The purpose of the Office of Administration is to recruit, admit, and serve an eligible, diverse student population, provide all necessary support, encouragement, and services to help students achieve their full potential and academic growth while they are studying at PCT, and support the educational programs of the college by providing effective and efficient utilization of all financial and physical resources available. The office embraces the College’s commitment to attain the quality of students who are able to matriculate and graduate, and it maintains the integrity of the admissions and retention process. Through multiple recruitment strategies, the Office of Administration works to ensure that eligible students have access to higher education.

Office of Career Services

The purpose of the Office of Career Services is to provide assistance for Pacific Tech students and alumni in order to support their career development and job search strategies and to establish and sustain links to potential employers and employment opportunities.

Office of Educational Technology

The Office of Educational Technology provides educational technology resources and training that promote successful teaching and learning. It provides technical support, systems management, and consulting to the administration, faculty, staff, and students.

Office of Educational Effectiveness

The purpose of the Office of Educational Effectiveness is to provide oversight for and facilitate a consistent cycle of planning, assessment, and continuous improvement, promote and contribute to a culture of decision making that is mission-driven and data informed, and support the College’s efforts to develop and maintain a body of evidence that the institution is achieving its goals. The office collaborates across all units of the institution and integrates data about the College with institutional and student learning assessment results. The office is also responsible for the College’s ongoing compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations.

Office of Student Services

The purpose of the Office of Student Services is to support the academic and professional goals of students, faculty, and staff through the delivery of the highest level of customer service. The office of Student Services is committed to the holistic development of students, providing programs and services that empower them to realize their educational goals.

Faculty Council

The Faculty Council regularly meets before or during the first part of each semester; and may be called into session when and as deemed necessary by the Chair. All faculty members may attend Faculty Council meetings, and at those meetings, any faculty member can raise any issue regarding the operations of the faculty at PCT.

Student Government Association

The purpose of the Student Government Association (SGA) is to give the student body a voice in College Administration. SGA is responsible for matters of general student concern. Under the supervision of the Office of Student Services, SGA coordinates interactions between campus organizations, student body, faculty, and administration. Representatives of SGA may be called upon to make recommendations during curriculum review, and whenever an administrative committee requires student input.
