Academic Advising

Academic advising is designed to support students’ efforts to successfully complete their programs and to help them avoid the need to repeat coursework. Students who have questions about program requirements, administrative rules, GPAs or other academic results that indicate standards of academic progress requirements may not be met, are strongly encouraged to seek academic advising as soon as possible. Pacific College of Technology an advising is limited to academic matters. Personal or therapeutic counseling is not provided; students needing such counseling will be referred to appropriate agencies.

Disability Support Services

Disability Support Services promotes full participation and equal access to educational opportunities, programs, and activities. It provides accommodations and support services for students with documented disabilities, and educates the larger College community on disability related issues. It also ensures that the College complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act 2009 as amended. Students with disabilities are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Services as soon as possible after admission to the College.

Tutoring Services

One-on-one tutoring by instructors is available to all students upon request and without charge. Requests should be made through the student’s instructor or through the Program Director.
